13 in 13 Linky Party

I'm joining the party. Link up with Miss Kindergarten, A Teeny Tiny Teacher, and Dragonflies in First.

I have to admit, I'm glad to see 2013 coming to an end. Nothing terrible or anything bad has happened, in fact, just the opposite, many great things happened, but I'm always  hopeful this time of year that the new year will bring new and exciting adventures to our family.
So here goes:

I am loving the animal prints that are so popular now. This blouse is from JCP and it is so soft, smooth, and comfy. I love to wear it with my black leggings and a bright pink sweater or my jeans.

I don't frequent the movies too often, because I'm really picky about what I view. But Captain Phillips was definitely the best movie I've seen so far this year. If you haven't seen it, go! I can't wait to see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Saving Mr. Banks in the next week. I think they might be able to top the one I've chosen.

This is the first season I have watched The Voice. I became addicted quickly. Even though America got it wrong in the in the end - I think Will should have won, I can't wait for it to start again in a few weeks.

I know their menu is huge, as well as the portions, but I absolutely love going here. I usually try a different cheesecake each time I go. :)

I opened up a store with TPT in May. And although I haven't done a lot with it, I'm hoping to change that in 2014. I love creating cute lesson/center/teaching helps. It's something I have a lot of passion about.

This pin was my inspiration for a new do. I'm so happy with my new do. It's super easy to do and my hair doesn't look dry and damaged all the time. Now if I could just have the face and body of Miss Hough - now you're talking!!

My favorite post was from last March. You can find it here. I'm sure you are all familiar with Rachelle and Natalie from the blog What the Teacher Wants. I was able to meet them at a Technology Conference. In fact, as soon as I found out that they were presenting, I registered immediately. These two amazing ladies are such an inspiration to me, not to mention they've saved me many an hour with their great ideas on their blog. And best of all, not only are they talented bloggers, they are two of the sweetest individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting. It was truly a delight to meet them.

Hmmm, that's a hard one for this year. I guess I'd have to say it was hosting my son's wedding dinner this past summer. Although I definitely was not alone in the planning or pulling it off. It was such a wonderful evening at a beautiful park, good food, and amazing friends and family surrounding us.

This one's going to kill two birds with one stone. This by far is the best picture we've taken as a family this year and it's the best memory of 2013. What a beautiful day my son's wedding was. It was extremely hot - like 110 degrees - YIKES! But we survived and it was and is so awesome to see him so happy. And we are so blessed to have such a sweet daughter-in-law join our family.

Well, I've really tipped the scales this year. I am at my all time highest weight ever :(  (I can't believe I'm putting this out there, but I'm hoping it will inspire me to do something about it.) I've signed up for a fitness boot camp that begins the first part of January. And I WILL follow a clean eating plan as well:)

Hope

  1. Hello! Just found you on the 13 link-up. Congratulations on your son's wedding. I have 2 sons and a daughter, too. Plus, my name is Susan. We have a lot in common. No kids married yet. I'm glad I found your blog and am your newest follower.
