Snow Globe Family

Have you ever read this book? It is the cutest book, and it was perfect for our writing activity today. I actually got the idea (again from Pinterest!) We read the book which compares a real family and a family in a snow globe. I then asked my students what they thought it would be like to live in a snow globe and boy did their imaginations start to go. Look and see what they did. You need to use crayon on your pictures and then use a watercolor wash over it to get that effect. I think they turned out pretty cute, even if I do say so myself.

                                          If I lived in a snow globe, I would want a family so
                                         I could have a snowball fight and I would always aim
                                         for the face.

                                           If I lived in a snow globe, I would have a mansion
                                           and a family, and a dog, and everything in my real
                                           house and go sledding and have a lot of fun.
